Australian grown black winter truffles from Hartley in the Blue Mountains.
Richard & Jane Austen founded Hartley Truffles at their family farm in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales, Australia in 2007. Their two varieties of oak now produce beautiful Tuber melanosporum, also known as ‘black perigord’ or black winter truffle. With the help of their two border collie dogs they harvest fresh truffle during June, July and August for the domestic and export market.
